She contacted me a short time before they planned to elope. Her message was simple.
“Hello my name is Alison and me and my fiance are looking for a
photographer for our Riley County courthouse wedding. It is going to be very intimate with just ourselves because our family and friends are
back in Michigan.”
We talked about their relationship, elopement plans and their dreams as husband and wife. From that first conversation I knew Alison had a heart of gold. Being invited to join them as they said, “I do” was truly an honor.
After their ceremony, Kyle and Alison walked around the Riley County Courthouse for a few moments to enjoy the beautiful day.
Of course we had to stop and take a few photographs on the steps.
Before arriving at the Riley County Courthouse, I stopped by 4 Cakes to pick up two classic white wedding cake cupcakes. It felt only right to have this sweet couple enjoy something yummy before heading off to their celebratory dinner!
Kyle and Alison, thank you for allowing me to join you in the moments when you became husband and wife. I wish you many, many years of happiness!
