Last week I had the joy of spending some time with my youngest sister. (She’s five.) That little lady is a ball of personality and smart, smart, smart. We were talking about spelling and my inner cheerleader started to come out…
G-O LET’S GO LET’S GO
G-O LET’S GO!
This simple cheer worked and before too long she was spelling along with me.
Cheering for your (my) spouse is something that is near and dear to my heart. I believeĀ as Cody’s wife, I am called to be his biggest supporter. Will he score a touch down in life every time he attempts something? Nope. (Sorry, love!) BUT, when a player misses the winning touch down catch do the cheerleaders stop cheering for their team? No way! Why, as a wife, should I stop cheering for my husband?
Today I’d like to encourage you to start cheering for your spouse…
– Write and mail them a letter. (Yes, mail it. Who doesn’t enjoy receiving a fun piece of mail.)
– Pray for them. Ask God to wrap his arms of protection around them.

Jamie
