Why the rebrand? When Cody and I were married over 3 years ago, my business was already established as Jamie K! Photography. Over the years, having a business under my maiden name initial, K, has felt off in many ways. My heart’s desire is to see couples have healthy, God honoring marriages, and yet my business name and brand was not truly reflect me and my marriage. I was, am, proud to take my husband’s last name! It is an honor to be the wife of the stud muffin you see below. Over the years our marriage has faced many trials.. The death of our first child, living in 3 cities in 3 years, new jobs, expanding my photography business… but through it all, our walk with God has gotten us through each day.
This is one of my favorite photographs from our wedding. I like it for a few reasons: (1) This 36+ week pregnant lady forgot what her flat stomach looked like. HA! (2) Our eyes are locked. When we’re together, our problems seem to melt away. Even today, with this man by my side, I know we can get through anything. (3) In this photograph I am Jamie Delaney.
So today I launch a new brand and new website introducing the real me, Jamie Delaney. I invite you to pull up a chair, enjoy a yummy snack and look around the new online home of Jamie Delaney. You will discover some new things, some old things, and hopefully a few things that will surprise you! On the blog I will share about marriage, infertility/miscarriage, our natural living lifestyle, and of course photographs of my wonderful clients!
